Sinigang– is a short story written by Marie Aubrey J. Villaceran This tells how Liza, the main character, handled the issue of her father, who had an ongoing affair with  Sylvia, and thus had a son, Lem. 𝙈𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙇𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 This short story ‘Sinigang’ illustrates what much of the Filipino household is going through. Unfortunately there are a lot of people who can relate to this story, broken family because of an affair and stuff. And as this is expressed in real life, moral lessons in this piece are also lessons that are genuinely needed and necessary in our lives. Forgiveness  When Liza heard the words she was looking forward to from her father, she eventually learned to live with him and to forgive him. They couldn’t go back to the life their family used to have; anyway it led them to be together again, regardless of the past.
